A striking vintage mirrored picture depicting the three-masted sailing ship The Windsor Castle – 1823, with finely rendered rigging, pale sails and vivid turquoise waves set against a reflective silvered background. Signed Lebreton to the lower left, the unusual combination of nautical illustration and mirror gives the piece wonderful depth and changes its appearance depending on its surroundings.

Dating approximately to the 1960s–1970s, it is presented in a period-sensitive dark wood-tone frame with contrasting inner border. A particularly fun piece of vintage maritime décor and much more visually interesting in person because of the reflections across the background. 75 × 53 cm framed.
