Vintage Space Age Chrome & Acrylic Floor Lamp

A striking vintage floor lamp featuring a large white acrylic globe shade raised on a slender chrome-plated stem and circular base. Its oversized rounded shade and polished metal construction create a classic Space Age–inspired silhouette, while the translucent acrylic produces a soft, evenly diffused ambient glow. Likely dating from the 1970s–1980s, the lamp works beautifully in modern, retro, and eclectic interiors.

In good working vintage condition, with age-related marks and surface wear to the chrome base and stem. There are also visible imperfections and discoloration on the metal cap atop the shade, as shown in the photographs. The acrylic shade remains intact, with light surface wear consistent with age. Measures approximately 40cm wide x 160cm high.
