Vintage Seashell Mubkhar with Wooden Base

A charming vintage mubkhar featuring a beautifully detailed scallop shell design in dark, pewter-toned metal, resting on a circular black wooden base. The hinged shell opens to reveal a small brass-toned inner bowl, while perforations across the upper surface allow fragrant smoke to escape. Its unusual coastal-inspired design makes it a distinctive decorative piece.

Estimated to date from the late 20th century, though its exact age and origin remain unconfirmed. Displays minor signs of age and use, with a lovely aged finish.
