The raised central panel features elaborate floral and arabesque motifs in vibrant turquoise blue, deep red, green, and gold against a dark background. The surrounding surfaces are covered in traditional khatam kari patterns, with hundreds of tiny geometric details creating a wonderfully intricate finish.

Estimated to date from the late 20th century, this medium-sized box features an elegant scalloped profile, small decorative feet, a brass clasp, and a rich emerald-green velvet-lined interior.
