A beautiful vintage Persian freestanding vanity mirror with an ornate brass frame, engraved throughout with floral and bird motifs. The oval mirror is suspended between two decorative turned supports and can be tilted to adjust the viewing angle. An elaborate repoussé-style floral crest crowns the mirror, with further scrolling decoration across the base.

Likely dating to the mid to late 20th century, the brass has developed gentle age-related patina and surface variation that suits the character of the piece. A decorative and substantial mirror for a dressing table, console or bedroom.
