Vintage Moroccan Hand-Tooled Brass Shutter Mirror

A beautifully ornate Moroccan wall mirror, handcrafted from wood and covered in richly embossed brass. The architectural silhouette, scrolling arabesques, dotted borders and layered geometric decoration give it the presence of a miniature palace doorway. Two substantial wooden shutters open to reveal the mirror beneath, making the piece decorative even when closed.

The warm, naturally aged brass has developed an attractive patina that highlights the hand-tooled details. At 66 cm tall, it is considerably larger and more visually impressive than many souvenir-sized Moroccan shutter mirrors, making it ideal for an entrance, powder room or collected gallery wall.
