DESCRIPTION

Lovely set of frames prints that were a part of a collection of Japanese prints from the series by Utagawa Kunisada called "A Contest of Beauties". They are reproductions of the original block prints for the Eco period. They are so lovely and each has a small description of the image on the bottom right hand side. They are copies of woodblock prints, not handmade woodblocks. They were likely produced between the 1960s and 1970s based on the quality of the paper. The frames are simple black metal frames that I sourced from IKEA.

I am selling these as a set or grouping, not individually.

Each frames print is 32cm by 42cm.

Condition:

Lovely vintage condition with a few imperfections such as small pin holes where they seem to have been hung at some point in their existence.
