Vintage Mid-Century Confetti Melamine Bowls – Set of Two, c. 1950s–60s

A wonderful pair of vintage confetti melamine bowls, likely dating to the 1950s–60s. Each has a richly mottled surface of rust orange, turquoise blue, cream and warm brown, created throughout the molded material rather than simply printed onto the surface. This colorful “confetti” or spatterware look was particularly popular in mid-century kitchenware. Comparable melamine pieces from the period show very similar construction and finishes.

Both bowls retain a molded maker’s mark to the base, although I haven’t been able to confidently identify the manufacturer and would leave the attribution open rather than guess. Sold together as a pair and in very good vintage condition with light age-related wear.
