Vintage Kuwait Towers German Silver Three-Piece Set – c. 1980s

A particularly interesting vintage three-piece decorative set made in German silver, each piece richly engraved with floral decoration and medallions depicting the Kuwait Towers. The set includes a traditional dallah, a tall perfume/rosewater atomizer, and a small lidded bowl. As the Kuwait Towers were completed in 1979, I would date the set to approximately the 1980s–early 1990s. The pieces are stamped “G. SILVER,” almost certainly indicating German silver—a silver-colored alloy traditionally used for decorative metalwork rather than sterling silver.

The set is in good vintage condition overall with age-related tarnish, oxidation, surface scratches and areas of rubbing throughout. The dallah's lower handle attachment appears to have separated from the body, although the handle remains firmly attached at the top. The atomizer shows discoloration around the neck fittings and some unevenness consistent with age and use, while the bowl has visible interior patina/discoloration. There are also small dents and handmade irregularities across the pieces, all visible in the photographs.
