Vintage Japanese Torii Kiyonaga “Three Beauties in the Rain” Reproduction Print – 47 x 57cm

A vintage Japanese reproduction after Torii Kiyonaga (1752–1815), depicting three elegantly dressed women walking beneath umbrellas in the rain. The image is commonly known as “Three Beauties in the Rain” and reflects Kiyonaga’s celebrated bijin-ga compositions of fashionable women from Edo-period Japan. The original design dates to the late 18th century; this example appears to be a mid-20th-century reproduction, likely 1960s–1970s. 

Presented in a handsome 1980s burl-style frame with cream matting and gilt detailing. The print measures within an overall framed size of approximately 47 x 57cm. A very decorative vintage piece that pairs traditional Japanese imagery with a later period frame.
