Vintage Indian Brass Clog Ashtray

A charming vintage brass trinket tray in the form of a traditional Dutch wooden clog (klomp), beautifully decorated with hand-engraved floral motifs highlighted with colored enamel accents. Marked "Made in India" on the underside, this piece was likely produced during the 1960s–1980s, when Indian brass workshops exported decorative homewares inspired by European forms. These whimsical brass souvenirs became popular for use as ashtrays, ring dishes, catchalls, or desk accessories.

Today, it makes a lovely decorative accent for holding jewelry, coins, keys, or other small treasures.
