Vintage Handcarved Wood and Porcupine Quill Box

DESCRIPTION

This loverly pedestaled box is hand carved in either Ethiopia or Eritrea and includes a striped design made of natural porcupine quills. Its a sweet little piece that would be perfect to add some character to a book shelf.

Condition: 

There are some areas of imperfection around which is common with pieces of this age. The lid is a bit fickle.
