Vintage Hand-Carved Wooden Tissue Box Cover

A decorative vintage hand-carved wooden tissue box cover, likely Indian, with dense trailing leaf and vine carving across the top and all four sides. The warm-toned wood, recessed carving and moulded edges give it a much richer appearance than a standard tissue holder, while a sliding wooden base allows a tissue box to be inserted discreetly.

Likely dating to approximately the 1980s–1990s, with gentle signs of age and use consistent with a handmade vintage piece. Particularly nice for a majlis, living room or bedroom where a modern cardboard tissue box would otherwise stand out.
