A substantial vintage ashtray hand-carved from a single block of hardwood, with a deep rounded bowl and an inset copper cigarette rest at the front. The darkened interior, rich wood grain and softly irregular form give it a strong mid-century / 1970s organic design feel.

Sourced alongside a collection of pieces dating from the 1960s–1980s, which is consistent with its style and construction. The wood and copper both show an attractive aged patina from previous use.
