Vintage Framed Cat & Birdcage Painting – 79 x 99cm

A charming vintage hand-painted interior scene featuring a long-haired black and white cat gazing upward at a bird in an ornate hanging cage, surrounded by rich jewel-toned furnishings and decorative details. Cats are especially beloved in Kuwait, making this a particularly appealing subject for local collectors and interiors. The work is signed in the lower right and has been professionally custom framed in a substantial gold-tone frame with a cream linen-style inner border.

Measures approximately 79 x 99cm including the frame. Likely dating from the late 20th century. There are some small age-related imperfections to the painted surface, most noticeably in and around the birdcage area, which can be seen in the photographs. Overall, these do not distract significantly from the presentation of the piece.
