Vintage Etched Brass Cigarette Case with Pagoda Scene

A characterful mid-century East Asian brass cigarette case, likely dating from the 1940s–1960s. Both sides are densely hand-etched: one depicts a mountainous village with traditional rooflines, while the reverse features large peony-like flowers and foliage. The aged brass surface has developed a warm, naturally mottled patina that gives the piece considerable decorative appeal.

The side closure no longer catches securely, so this piece is sold strictly as a decorative collectible rather than a functional cigarette case. It would make an attractive styling object, photography prop or addition to a collection of vintage smoking accessories.
