Vintage Brass Mubkhar with Crescent and Star Finial

A decorative vintage brass incense burner featuring a domed, perforated lid topped with an Islamic crescent and star finial. The lid is embellished with engraved scrolling motifs, while the rounded body rests on three ornate animal-paw feet and features decorative ring handles on either side.

Possibly of Middle Eastern or South Asian manufacture, this piece was designed for burning incense or bakhoor, allowing fragrant smoke to escape through the perforations in the lid. Its aged brass finish displays a warm patina consistent with vintage use, making it an attractive decorative object even when not in use.
