Vintage 1990s IKEA Postmodern Table Lamp – Beech Wood & Charcoal Metal

A stylish vintage IKEA table lamp from the 1990s, combining a warm natural beechwood stem with a substantial matte charcoal-grey metal base and matching metal fittings. The simple geometry, contrasting materials and wooden pull switch give it a particularly strong Scandinavian postmodern / minimalist look. Comparable vintage IKEA lamps using this same combination of beech and dark grey metal are dated to the 1990s and are now marketed as collectible design pieces.

The lamp is in good vintage working condition with light surface wear, marks and patina to the base and wood consistent with age. The white textured drum shade is a later replacement and is not the original IKEA shade; it suits the proportions beautifully and gives a warm, diffused light when illuminated. Original pull-cord mechanism and wooden pull remain present.
