A beautiful traditional wooden charpai bench, believed to originate from the Swat Valley region of northern Pakistan or neighboring Afghanistan, estimated to date from the early to mid-20th century (circa 1900–1950). The substantial wooden frame features remarkable hand-carved geometric floral patterns across the front, intricate decorative carvings along the sides, and beautifully turned wooden posts. Its dark, timeworn finish highlights the craftsmanship and character of this distinctive piece.

The bench has been thoughtfully restored with a newly woven seat in a neutral striped textile, complementing the original wooden framework while preserving its aged appearance. Perfect as a statement bench in a living room, entryway, or bedroom, it brings a wonderful sense of history and traditional craftsmanship to any interior. Vintage condition with natural wear and imperfections throughout the wooden frame.

Dimensions: 120 × 68 cm
