These are some of my absolute favorite style of boxes as the handwork is so intricate! Each design seen in this box is made from putting together different textures to create these patterns using wood, bone and metals. Please watch YouTube to see how they're made. Just gorgeous. Traditional Persian polo scene painted on the top. I have never seen one of these boxes with the decoration on the bottom and on the inside of the box, usually it's just plain wood. This is a very special piece.
