DESCRIPTION

These gorgeous antique Indian portraits have been digitally viewed by an expert in Mughal artworks who consults Christie's in London, and she has confirmed the age and origin as well as the sitter of the piece. The man in these portraits is Akbar the Great, a ruling Mughal emperor who reigned from 1556-1605. The woman is unknown, but likely one of his wives. These are genuinely gorgeous and authentic portraits that are perfect to add some character and history to your home.

117cm wide by 127cm tall

Condition:

These antique portraits are definitely in an unrestored state. They bear the signs of almost 2 centuries of use. The frames have various missing pieces of wood and the paintings themselves have some restoration work.
