Mid Century Japanese Planter

DESCRIPTION

Lovely little Japanese made planter with a man and a pot. This is a tiny piece but I really loved the subject matter. The dealer I purchased it from referred to it as an "Ali Baba" planter. Love that. Not sure exactly who its supposed to be, but its such a fun little piece of mid century decor. This piece is likely 70+ years old and has some small defects which are pretty normal for a piece like this. Height 14cm and width is 13cm.
