Striking mid-century Italian wall mirror, circa 1950s–1960s, featuring an architectural arched form surrounded by panels of softly rose-toned engraved glass. Delicate scrolling, floral and wave-like motifs are etched throughout the glass, complemented by narrow mirrored sections and warm gilt metal detailing.
The design belongs to the postwar Italian decorative-glass tradition closely associated with makers such as Cristal Art of Turin, although this example is unsigned and is therefore not attributed to a specific manufacturer. The unusual combination of colored engraved glass, segmented construction and sculptural silhouette gives the mirror a particularly elegant presence. Similar documented Italian examples from the 1950s use pink/copper engraved glass and brass framing.
Measures approximately 60 × 96 cm. Good vintage condition with minor age-related wear consistent with its age.
