Late Qing Chinese Embroidered Silk Panel, Custom Framed

A striking antique Chinese silk panel, hand embroidered in metallic gold, silver and blue threads against a beautifully faded coral-pink ground. Its symmetrical design features paired flower-filled vases, blossoms, ribbons and auspicious decorative objects, all framed by deep blue floral brocade. The textile has been professionally mounted beneath glass with a generous ivory mat and slender antiqued-gold frame, giving it the scale and presence of a substantial piece of textile art.

Condition: Good antique condition with visible fading, discoloration, creasing, scattered thread loss and historic repairs consistent with its considerable age. These signs of wear are clearly visible in the photographs and contribute to the textile’s authentic character. Minor wear may also be present on the frame.
