An impressive Chinese porcelain incense burner beautifully decorated in the famille rose palette with extensive gilt ornamentation, floral sprays, and traditional court scenes. The domed pierced lid is topped with a finely modelled guardian lion (foo dog), while the body is supported on three substantial gilt feet and flanked by elegant rectangular handles.

Panels depicting scholars and attendants are surrounded by dense floral decoration, birds, and fruit motifs, giving the piece exceptional visual richness from every angle.
