Description
A scarce first edition of Fishes of Kuwait, published by the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) in March 1972. Written by Katsuzo Kuronuma and Yoshitaka Abe, this landmark reference documents the fish species of Kuwait and the Arabian Gulf with detailed descriptions, illustrations, maps, and color plates.
An excellent addition for collectors of Kuwait history, Gulf natural history, marine biology, or KISR publications.
The book is in very good vintage condition with a clean interior, a tight binding, and its original dust jacket. The dust jacket shows light age-related wear and toning, but the book itself has been well cared for. Also included is a period newspaper clipping about Kuwait's historic oyster market that was preserved inside the book.
