Antique Japanese Lacquer Box

Description:
Lovely vintage box from the Taishō to early Shōwa period which is roughly 1915–1940. The two interesting creatures on the piece are stylized birds. They almost look like little monsters. Such a unique and beautiful piece. Please pay special attention to the photos as there are some areas of loss around the sides.
