Antique 1937 Lipton's Tea Tin

DESCRIPTION

Lovely and old Lipton tin. Mae is 1937 and close to 100 years old. The lovely Japanese style design is such a beautiful homage to the tea cultures of the Far East. This piece is for decorative use only and the outside of the can had been protected with a layer of varnish to ensure it survives extended use.

Condition: 

Some of the design has rubbed off over the decades. The piece has been stabilized with a layer of varnish. The age of this piece adds such an incredible level of beauty to the item. It oozes with history in such an incredible way.
