Published in 1992, this second edition of Invasion: Saddam Hussain’s Reign of Terror in Kuwait by Ali Mohamed Al-Damkhi documents the Iraqi invasion, occupation and liberation of Kuwait through extensive photographs and contemporary commentary. The 134-page volume includes images of wartime destruction, damaged homes and buildings, Iraqi military positions, the return of Kuwait’s leadership and the immediate aftermath of liberation. Many of the photographs were taken by Al-Damkhi himself.

A particularly interesting piece of Kuwait’s post-invasion publishing history, produced only a year after liberation. Softcover in very good vintage condition with light signs of age and handling.
