H.R.P. Dickson’s classic study of Bedouin life in Arabia, first published in 1949. This copy is the 1972 fifth impression, published by Allen & Unwin, and retains its original illustrated dust jacket. It also includes the large fold-out maps and genealogical tables shown, including the Al Sabah ruling family chart.
A particularly nice Kuwait-related copy with an original Foyles, Charing Cross Road, London bookseller stamp. The dust jacket shows age-related wear with small losses, creasing and edge wear, while the book itself remains well preserved for its age.
