1937 King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Coronation Commemorative Saucer

An original commemorative china saucer produced for the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth on 12 May 1937. The colourful transfer decoration features paired royal portraits surrounded by crowns, heraldic animals and Commonwealth flags, with the GR 1937 coronation emblem below. An attractive piece of pre-war British royal memorabilia, now approximately 89 years old.

Presented in authentic vintage condition with overall crazing, a visible hairline or old crack, light surface marks and considerable wear to the metallic rim. The decoration remains bright and clearly defined, making it best suited for decorative display or a collection of royal commemorative ware.
