1930s German BSF Platura Silver-Plated Dessert Cutlery – Boxed Set of 12(Benefits Charity!)

A beautiful circa 1930s German dessert cutlery set comprising six small forks and six spoons, presented across two original-style fitted cases lined in golden satin. The pieces are marked BSF Platura 90, identifying them as quality German silverplate by the Bremer Silberwarenfabrik. The “90” denotes the traditional weight of silver plating, while the additional “18” seen on the forks relates to the silver plating specification for the smaller pieces.

Both cases retain labels for Wiesbadener Besteck-Fabrikation Weller & Co., Wiesbaden, a tableware firm documented operating in Wiesbaden by 1932. The restrained, streamlined handles are particularly attractive and give the set an elegant Art Deco-era feel. Light signs of age and use throughout, with the cases beautifully preserved for their age.
