1930s Art Deco Gooseneck Desk Lamp with Paper Clip Tray

Description

A characterful vintage metal desk lamp, sourced from the UK and sold to us as an original 1930s Art Deco piece. It features a flexible gooseneck, domed metal shade and a wonderfully substantial cast base with radiating Art Deco detailing. A small recessed compartment in the base is ideal for holding paper clips or other tiny desk essentials. The aged metal finish and natural patina give it a particularly good industrial look.

The lamp is working. Please note that the small toggle switch on the base is currently decorative only and is not connected to operate the light. Visible age-related marks, oxidation and surface wear are present throughout. Approximately 38 × 35 cm as shown.
