18th Century Table Top with a 1970s Chrome Base

Description:

The top is from the 18th century and was handled by "Mousells's Depository" which was a London based furniture shop in Waltham Green, Fulham, a well known area for quality furniture and antiques back in the 19th century. The area is close to what is now Chelsea, Kensington and West London. The table was then transformed in the 1970s from a kitchen table into a coffee table by the addition of the chrome base. You get this history, but also something that is perfect for modern day living. 

Sourced from a collector in Shamiya, Kuwait.
